There were several times when we had to offset the router from the ellipse to cut the purple heart that would be glued to each side of the maple. After all the pieces were cut, we cut out the pockets for each of the padauk squares using a trim router and a simple box jig that just sat right on top of the floor. •Picture not shown….I lost several pics over the years 😦
